About Emma Brooks
Emma Brooks is a 24 year-old digital media enthusiast originally hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, now making her home here in Toronto, Ontario.
She enjoys the finer things in life, such as a good tea, some Pimm’s or perhaps a funny viral video. She has weird hang-ups about punctuation, grammar and the lack of spelling abilities in youths these days. She is passionate about both advertising and marketing and has been looking forward to breaking into these industries since she was a wee teen. (She is still wee, towering at 5’1″.)
In her down time, she enjoys strolling around the internet, clicking anything and everything that strikes her fancy. She has a love/hate relationship with Facebook, is a true and loyal supporter of Twitter and its future opportunities and feels MySpace should really stop trying to be friends with her because it ain’t gonna happen, mmk? She also has been known to play a game or two of soccer and is an avid reader of mostly non-fiction and hilariously dry humour fiction (à la Douglas Adams).
