I’m so bad at reading blogs (I’m working on it!) Thanks for the mention I’m happy to have met you too! We need to hang out again soon!

To sum up all of your points about getting to know people in a new town or in life otherwise is just getting out there and showing that you’re a fairly decent person. As someone who’s moved around a lot in my life I think it would have been very lonely times if I hadn’t put myself out there. Its hard but no one is going to know you otherwise! Awesome post Emma!

Thanks for the lovely comment Jenmy! I definitely agree Toronto has quite the different feel; one of the reasons I really love it. I mean, where else will you find Hip Hop Kareoke in Canada?!

And of course I want to be your friend! We really do have to do that coffee sometime! Let’s plan a date and set it in stone?

Great post Emma!

I moved to Toronto last year after graduating university and I can’t believe the year’s gone by so fast. I was lucky and I had a lot of friends that moved to Toronto and so it made adjusting to the big city a lot easier. That being said, there’s something very different about Toronto. There’s more things to do and more things to get involved with. I think a part of me will miss my hometown but I feel as if it is a part of my past and it’s shaped who I have become.

I love your tips and quick tips. I like your writing style and I have a feeling you’ll be doing some amazing things soon.
