For day 6 of the Great Write Off of 2009, my competitor Dan Hocking took the time out to point out how I’m totally awesome.

Haha, OK I might be kidding. Seriously though, it looks like Dan will be bringing out the skillz in the following days. He says:

It’s fun to be challenged like this – I have some mutual friends who remind me constantly how much better Emma is doing than I; this means that I am trying to step up my game. It’s helped me move forward the plans that I’ve had for my blog and my site as well; otherwise I’m not sure when I would’ve worked on some of these things.

I am very much looking forward to this but also a little worried! I definitely think Dan is a more than worthy competitor and have really taken his first few posts in this challenge as proof that he is a busy, busy man and not that he is unable to produce great blog posts. I’ve definitely seen great blog posts from him before. Dan mentions he will be producing a weekly How-To Series which sounds very interesting so be sure to check that out.

Can’t wait to see what this week will bring. Will Dan overthrow my strong start and sail easily to the finish line? Stay tuned!
